Darkness

From the darkness, there was no escape
Unbounded she had spilled
engulfing all in an cosmic shadow —
a Vehement Void
I had lost, with her presence alone
Nothing could I give her,
but silence
No words were due
For she was right
I had been wrong
It was all I could do —
Accept
It comes hard
Ah! But sometimes even defeats can be sweet
She was facing me
blazing dark eyes with despair;
she was grieved
with sorrow I could not even comprehend
I let myself go
Crying, I fell
She held me in a chilling embrace
She was warm like a hearth
I held her for this was the end
She was the Truth herself
